Facebook Video Ads — Are they a good option for your practice?

Did you know you can use video ads to target new patients?

Video ads are the same price as other ad types and can give you more bang for your buck if you're targeting your audience properly.

With video quickly becoming a leader in Facebook consumption, it's easy to see why video ads would be a worthwhile investment. Video allows your patients or potential patients to see and connect directly with you. Don't let being camera shy stop you! At least be on camera for a few seconds at the beginning of the video. If a Facebook user sees a face talking to them in a video they are much more likely to unmute it and listen which means you have potential to reach that many more people.

Keep in mind that the ads play but don't have sound until the user interacts with them so it's important to quickly grab attention visually and keep your most important content 10 - 15 seconds into the video.

As for video ad length, there really is no set time that seems to work best. The most important thing is to entertain, provide excellent value and information, and educate your viewer.

So should you invest in video ads to target new patients? Absolutely! Doing so will help your social media marketing activities.
